This drawer (and its mate; this was one of a pair) was constructed with needle dovetails, which require a sure hand on the saw. The cockbeading is ebony, and was scraped by hand. The drawer bottom is solid hard maple, the drawer back is Spanish Cedar, which is aromatic.
