This is a coffee table, 30”l, 13”w, 13” h, which was build for a small space in a smallish room. It was designed in a Shaker style. A simple, quiet piece which emphasizes the beautiful birdseye maple top. The base is of plain hard maple. Turner prefers not to use figured woods for legs and aprons, feeling that overuse of ornamentation can be a distraction.
