Birdseye maple is one of the several figured maples that Alan often works with. Other figured maples include curly (also known as tiger) and quilted. A starting coat of boiled linseed oil emphasizes the chatoyant nature of this fine wood. Varnish to finish insures that this table will stand up to the brew it was named for, as well as others.
